How to Declare Your LMC Major, Minor, or Threads

Changing Your Major

To change your major to LMC, fill out the change of major form via Docusign with your student information at the top. You will need the signature from your current academic advisor and the LMC advisor.

Then, contact Amanda Blocker at amanda.blocker@lmc.gatech.edu with your interest in changing your major to LMC. Amanda will connect with you in Navigate360 so you can schedule an appointment.

Before you attend your advisement appointment with the LMC advisor, please review the LMC course requirements in the Georgia Tech Course Catalog. You can also find relevant information for LMC majors and academic advising on the LMC Advisor Blog.

Declaring an LMC Minor

To declare an LMC minor, first meet with your academic advisor to see how a minor would work with your current program.

Then, submit the Change of Minor form via Docusign. You will need virtual signatures from your academic advisor and Amanda Blocker.

Note: Classes used toward the minor cannot double-count toward other degree requirements (i.e. humanities or social science credit).

For additional details, view the minors offered by the School of LMC.
