JC Reilly holds a Ph.D. in English and Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska with field work in Women’s Studies, an M.A. in English Literature from Northwestern State University, and a B.A. in English from Louisiana State University-Shreveport.  She also serves as Editor of Atlanta Review, the Southeast’s premiere poetry-only literary journal, and teaches creative writing and literature in the School.  Her writings appear widely in literary journals throughout the U.S. and internationally, and she has received a Pushcart nomination and other awards for poetry.  She is the author of four poetry collections, most recently Amo e Canto (2022), which won the Sow’s Ear Poetry Prize in 2020.
