Fernanda started coding in the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program in high school and has been passionate about designing and building websites ever since. In her computational media classes, she's gotten to work on technical projects that allow her to show a bit of personality in them.
For instance, she built a humorous Twitter Bot that tweets Georgia Tech-related memes in a satirical poetic form (think Milk and Vine), and developed a GameBoy Advance game based on her favorite Disney Pixar movie, Inside Out! The skills she gained in her CM classes have also helped her land a software development internship at NASA.
