Seona Kim is a visiting lecturer in the Writing and Communication Program at Georgia Tech. She recently completed her Ph.D. in English at the University of Tulsa, with a focus on early twentieth-century modernist literature and midlife/middle age. Her dissertation examines how modernist literature reimagines middle-aged identity and midlife narratives in response to the shifting cultural perceptions of midlife aging in the early twentieth century. She earned her B.A. and M.A. in English from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Korea, where she specialized in European and American modern drama.
